Formguide.com.au aims to become your one-stop-shop for form and tips.
We will endeavour to bring you timely content on thoroughbred, harness and greyhound racing from around Australia and beyond.
The three racing codes are big business in Australia and while there are many news services covering them, the lack of a truly top-notch digital form service is staggering.
While Formguide.com.au is currently under construction, we will be taking a completely digital approach to this website, meaning it will be easily accessible and readable from desktop computers, smartphones, tablets and any other devices the technical wizards out there invent.
We are in the process of building a form database for each of the three racing codes, and we hope to have this website launched in the second half of 2016.
Australian horse racing
The sport of kings is massive in Australia. We have brilliant racing right around the country on a daily basis. While much of the emphasis is on the big carnivals and group 1 races, like the Melbourne Cup Carnival (Melbourne Cup, Cox Plate) the Championships ( Queen Elizabeth Stakes, Queen Of The Turf Stakes, the Sydney Cup and the Australian Oaks), the Magic Millions (Magic Millions 2YO Cup) and others, there is literally a quality race on every day of the year.
Not Only will Formguide.com.au cover the big ones at Flemington and other metro tracks, we’ll be there for the Hanging Rock picnics and the bevy of ‘country cups’ that more and more are being targeted by the prominent trainers as great lead-up and potentially lucrative paydays.
Our in-house experts will also provide you with the latest breaking news and give you insight into what the best bets on any given day of the year are.
Main metropolitan tracks in Australia
Melbourne, Victoria: Flemington, Caulfield, Moonee Valley, Sandown
Sydney, NSW Warwick Farm, Randwick, Rosehill, Canterbury
Brisbane, Queensland: Eagle Farm, Doomben
Adelaide, South Australia: Morphettville, Morphettville Parks
Perth, Western Australia: Ascot
Tasmania: Hobart, Launceston
Greyhound racing
The greyhounds have copped a battery of criticism in recent years, but when these regal beasts are treated right there is nothing more thrilling than placing a wager on the dogs.
Formguide.com.au will arm you with everything you need to know to successfully wager on the greys. We’ll provide full form, comments on the big meetings and sectional times for those who like to dig a little deeper.
Formguide.com.au is by the same people who bring you www.AustralianRacingGreyhound.com so we like to think we know a few things about this sport. We have a team of qualified experts who can make your punting dollar go further than before.
Sydney: Wentworth Park
Melbourne: The Meadows, Sandown Park
Brisbane: Albion Park
Hobart: Hobart
Adelaide: Angle Park
Perth: Cannington
Darwin: Winnellie Park
Harness racing
The harness racing might have the smallest following out of all the racing codes, but it won’t be neglected at Formguide.com.au. We will cover everything from the Inter Dominion to the Albury meets. Basically if you can bet on it – we’ll have an interest in it.
Harness racing is controlled by governing bodies in each state with Victoria and New South Wales featuring the main tracks. Menagle Park took over as the home of the trots in New South Wales, when Harold Park run its last race in 2011. In Victoria Melton and Cranbourne are the two main harness racing hubs, with Moonee Valley no longer hosting trots.
Australian Bookmakers we endorse
This website is by Australians, for Australians, and we firmly believe in supporting the market here. We only endorse bookies licensed and legal in our great country. From a racing point of view they offer great value with various sign-up bonuses, matched bets and cash back offers, just to name a few, on offer.
